You are so much more than what others see.
What defines our humanity at its core?
What connects us to all living beings and cultures? What do we share with the Earth and its ecosystems?
We are vulnerable.
Showing ourself, truly, authentic is making us vulnerable and at the same time
vulnerability can open new paths to loving, peaceful, and connected coexistence.

The art of living
"Feeling that everything, every action, every movement, every breath, can be glorious, ritualistic.
Turning the simple into something magical, divine.
Even the act of cleaning becomes a blessed gesture,
each sweep an offering, a purification.
And sometimes I am there, only sometimes, in that moment where, as if my life depended on it, time ceases to exist and everything is now.
It is not something supernatural.
We can all touch that place."
"It may sound like worn-out words, common phrases,
but those who have felt it know that they are not just words.
They know that they don't want to let go of that moment, that their whole being wants to stay there, expressing what is inside."

Emma - Just be
There was a time when panic attacks, anxiety and hyperventilation were a part of my life. Then I discovered freediving and slowly, those symptoms began to fade. When I´m in the water, I often visulize, like being inside a flower, surrounded by the purple leafs, seeing every tiny vein. Or watch a partical floating in the sea. I notice the light, imagine how it changes with clouds, with rain, at different times of the day. These images bring me completely into the moment. I`m fully present, and yet, it feels like I´ve stepped into another world. Like in Narnia, a door opens, and everything else fades away. I become calm. It´s kind of meditation, not not through breaht or silence, its because I change my perspective, through seeing, through feeling, through beeing.“
Why do you want to take the pictures?
"Its the first time I feel confidence, more free. Not feeling self critical."

When the face is hidden, the dancer can merge with nature for the viewer. She becomes an animal, a tree, the rocks,
she becomes one.
The hands and every part of the body become words, expressions, telling their very own story.
These Images were created in collaboration with Canarias Mindful Travel.
"Right now, we need more people who dare to show themselves, not just their best,
but also their pain, their hopelessness, their paralysis."

Tina
All my life, I was afraid of the sea.
I never went further out than where I could stand safely.
Now I'm diving deep and I'm living so close, that I can feel the vibration of the waves in my bed. Even my feelings are connected with it, when the sea is wild, my energy changes too. I need to move and "go wild" aswell.
At the same time, the ocean can be like a grounding force.
I can go out during the night and it helps to calm down my mind with an endless symphony of gentle waves and wind.
"It's not easy,
but it's simple."
